It’s time for the second edition of the Weekend Rap-Up! Every weekend, you’ll be able to catch some tight new records from other coasts and other genres, as well as some other music that slipped through the cracks during the busy week. This time we’ve got September 7th’s Lakers mixtape, a new video interview with R&B master Joe, and a joint from Stan Sheppard’s protege Lena J.
Weekend Rap-Up - June 27th, 2009!
September 7th Presents - Lakers 2009 World Championship Mixtape
Have your own Laker parade from the comfort of your home with September 7th’s latest mixtape. You know what you’re gettin here, and that’s some straight West Coast celebration music. We apologize for not bringing this to you earlier in the week.
New Video Interview With Joe
I’m not sure about you guys, but Joe is one of my favorite R&B artists of all time. He’s so damn consistent too. In this new video interview, he says some VERY real shit about the music industry and how to mind your own business that I think everyone could stand to hear. Check it out below, and look out for Joe’s new album “Signature,” dropping July 14th.
Lena J - It’s Time
Our friend Stan Sheppard sent us over this smooth R&B jam from songstress Lena J. Throw this one on if you need to relax this weekend.

The weekend wouldn’t be complete without some ladies to look at too. Even though we don’t support all the stupidity surrounding “The Hills,” we definitely support dimepiece Audrina Patridge rolling around in a skimpy bikini while eating a Carl’s Jr cheeseburger. This commercial shits on the Paris Hilton one, and that’s mainly because Audrina is 10 times hotter than Paris.

We’ll rap it up again next weekend. Chuuch!
