Wow, I never thought I’d see the day when I’d be posting a Crooked and Snoop collabo. Congrats to them for squashing the beef, and this is perfect timing for the end of Chronic Vacation, which, I promise you, will close later today. Shouts out to Mickey at Treacherous Records for all that he does! After the jump you’ll also get the tracklist and cover for Crooked’s “Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist” EP.
The homie Mickey from Treacherous Records has been working on his own mixtape, aptly titled “Mick’s Tape,” for a while now. Here’s the first leak from the project. I’m so excited to see that this is coming out soon, because I know damn near everyone out here has laid something for this project.
The original “Creepin Solo” was arguably one of the tightest tracks to drop last year. It seems a little late for another remix at this point, but who gives a fuck, because now you get to hear Crooked jump on the record, and he rips it as usual.
Crooked I’s group the Horse Shoe Gang is dropping a freestyle a week during August here on Chronic Vacation. Here’s the first one, over Jay-Z’s “Run This Town.”
Obviously this is a day late, and for good reason! I rolled with Tapwire Magazine to the Playboy Mansion last night! Yessssir. I’ll have pics and video for you soon.
Here’s a new Crooked freestyle over 50 Cent’s “OK, You’re Right” beat. Remember, the Slaughterhouse album drops on August 11th. Also, Crooked’s “Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist” EP is dropping on August 18th now. So mark your calendars pimps. You’ve got a lot of good music to support!
Courtesy of the homeboy Mickey from Treacherous Records, we just got some new info about Crooked’s forthcoming EP “Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist,” dropping July 21st. Believe it or not, SNOOP DOGG is slated to appear on it! Hit the jump for all the info.
This is the first episode of Crooked’s video blog, and it starts out in Chicago from Crooked’s hotel. You’ll see him in the car on the way to the show and being on stage recording the fans while performing.
First of all, the entire Chronic Vacation staff would like to wish a happy birthday to the late great Tupac Shakur. We wouldn’t be doing what we’re doing right now if it wasn’t for you Pac! R.I.P.
Last year, Crooked I dropped a track called “Dear Tupac” as a tribute to the hip-hop icon, and this year the good folks at Treacherous Records are releasing a new version of the song, remixed by in-house producer Komplex. Check it out, and put one in the air for Pac today!
According to XXLMag, Slaughterhouse has signed to E1 Music (formerly Koch Records) and are set to release their album on July 7th with production from DJ Khalil, Alchemist, and Streetrunner among others. Hit the jump for the full article.
